Interpreters

Interpreters lead by Andrew Whiting, Beaver Creek Conservation Area.

Interpreters come from historic and natural environment parks and sites, heritage institutions, cultural centres and the science centre. Their focus is to help the visitor develop an understanding of the subject or environment. Interpreters gather at least once a year to network, exchange ideas, discuss problems/solutions, and explore ways in which the interpretive community can work more closely together for the benefit of all their institutions. This SIG has very close ties with the Education and Public Programming SIG.
