In conjunction with MAS’ 2010 Annual General Meeting and Conference, being held in Saskatoon at the end of May, we will be offering a day-long tour of the Duck Lake Regional Interpretive Centre and Batoche National Historic Site, in recognition of the 125th Anniversary of the Northwest Resistance and The Year of the Métis in Saskatchewan. In this week’s edition of The Megaphone, we talk to Karon Shmon from the Gabriel Dumont Institute about the importance of the anniversary, the tour, and GDI’s plans for 2010 celebrations.
