::Special Interest Groups
Education and Public Programs
Education and Public Programs lead by Laura Kinzel, Mendel Art Gallery.
This SIG focuses on programming for diverse audiences. The programming
encompasses a range of approaches including more formal activities for
school groups, families and professionals, and informal self-directed
learning opportunities for all ages. The SIG represents a diverse group
of over thirty educators from across the province, including small centres
and large institutions. Members are from art galleries, exhibition centres,
museums, historical societies, science centres, and zoos. Some members,
both paid employees and volunteers, are new to the museums field and others
have been active in the SIG for many years. We welcome all interested
participants.
