Exhibitions

Exhibitions lead by John Snell, Saskatchewan Science Centre

This Special Interest Group was established to support curators, exhibit preparators and staff with broader responsibilities who want to focus on exhibitions whether permanent, temporary or travelling. The SIG offers an opportunity for people to share new ideas and approaches, discuss issues and challenges, and build a support network. During the initial formation discussion groups three issues emerged that are of concern to curatorial staff - developing closer ties with researchers at the universities, new trends/approaches in exhibitions, and producing travelling exhibitions within the province.
