Managers / Directors Special Interest Group
The Museum Managers/Directors group is composed of executive directors, director/curators, business managers and human resource managers from institutions with a minimum of one paid staff person. Included in this group are managers/directors of organizations affiliated with museums, such as Friends groups.
This SIG is designed to bring managers/directors together regularly in order to support one another and discuss all issues/ideas/solutions that relate to the leadership, management or administration of their institutions.
We are always seeking new members to join our discussions, plan professional development opportunities, and connect with others in the arts, culture, and heritage community. If you are in a management position, we encourage you to contact MAS (see contact information below) to find out more!
