Programmers Special Interest Group
This SIG focuses on contemporary practices and theory in developing and delivering education and programming for diverse audiences. The programming encompasses a range of approaches including more formal activities for school groups, families and professionals, and informal self-directed learning opportunities for all ages.
The SIG represents a diverse group of programmers from across the province, including small centres and large institutions, such as art galleries, exhibition centres, museums, historical societies, parks, heritage sites, science centres, and zoos. Some members, both paid employees and volunteers, are new to the field and others have been active in programming for many years.
We are always seeking new members to join our discussions, plan professional development opportunities, and connect with others in the arts, culture, and heritage community. If you are active in programming in the arts, culture, and heritage area, we encourage you to contact MAS (see contact information below) to find out more!
