This two-day course is interactive and designed for entry-level museum practitioners who wish to learn more about exhibit design and planning in all types of museums.
An innovative and interactive two-day course guides you through the exhibit development process. Through lectures, group work, and group discussions, you will share your experiences and develop the necessary skills to offer exhibits that engage your community, tell your stories, and appeal to all ages. Practical topics such as evaluation, 2D and 3 D design, accessibility and families, and fabrication and installation are explored. The course includes a tour of the location museum.
