This one-day course is interactive and designed for entry-level museum practitioners who wish to learn more about museum, education, and learning in all types of museums.
We explore the contemporary role of a museum as a place of learning and education within their communities. We discuss current issues in programming and the importance of responding to current issues within society. Policy development is a key aspect of programming. Topics include planning and designing audience-appropriate education and public programs.
