Community Trainers


MAS is currently seeking individuals who love museums, are dedicated to standards of excellence within museums, and are interested in facilitating Standards for Excellence sessions to join our team of Community Trainers.

Community Trainers are an important part of MAS’  commitment to teaching and promoting standards of excellence within Saskatchewan community museums.

Benefits

  • Professional fee, travel and accommodation is paid for by MAS
  • Develop or enhance your facilitation and leadership skills
  • Visit museums throughout the province to share your experience, skills, and knowledge, and learn from others

Community Trainers co-facilitate two to four sessions per year.  A two- year commitment is preferred.

Eligibility 
  • Two or more years experience working in community museums
  • A member of MAS or affiliation with a MAS member museum
  • Facilitation skills and knowledge of principles of adult education are preferred but not necessary
